Billiards lovers gathered together, and the 2024 Shenzhen Guangming District Billiards Competition ended successfully.

Shenzhen News Network September 11, 2024 (Reporter Luo Huilin) On the afternoon of September 8, after fierce competition, the 2024 Guangming District Billiards Competition ended successfully in wanda plaza, Guangming District, Shenzhen. The competition was hosted by Shenzhen Guangming District Culture, Radio, Film, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and hosted by Shenzhen Guangming District Public Culture, Art and Sports Center (Guangming District Amateur Sports School), and was strongly supported by China Sports Lottery.

In the competition, more than 200 billiards fans from various communities in Shenzhen gathered together and had a wonderful game feast together. After three days of selection at different levels, a champion, a runner-up and a number of merit awards were finally produced.

The competition was divided into three groups: teenagers’ group, seniors’ group and professional/amateur group. Chinese 8-ball 1-to-1 singles were used, and the preliminary, semi-final and final stages were carried out respectively. During the competition, the contestants showed superb skills and tenacious fighting spirit, and won applause from the audience.

In the senior group competition, the players showed superb billiards skills with rich experience and steady skills. After several rounds of fierce fighting, 52-year-old Kan Tao finally won the championship of this competition. With his excellent play and stable mentality, he won unanimous praise from the audience and referees.

The competition in the youth group was equally fierce, and the players showed youthful vitality and fighting spirit on the field. After layers of selection, 16-year-old Zhang Yihan finally won the championship, and his performance fully reflected the potential and strength of young players.

The professional/amateur group competition attracted many billiards masters to participate, and the players gave full play on the field, showing superb skills and strategies, as well as their love and persistence in billiards. After some fierce fighting, Wu Qirong, 38, finally won the championship.

It is reported that the final of this competition was held in the atrium on the first floor of wanda plaza, Guangming District, which responded to the call of sports events to enter the business circle, helped consumers to feel the charm of billiards at close range, and further promoted the development of billiards in Guangming District.
