6月14日，东风奕派旗下第二款eπ008正式上市。新车共推出210Max增程版和636Max纯电版2款车型，售价均为21.66万元。新车基于东风量子架构打造，定位中大型SUV，动力上提供增程式混动车型和纯电车型选择，采用六座布局。
外观方面，新车采用极简设计风格，前脸采用封闭式格栅，搭配贯穿式大灯组设计，格栅内部辅以隐藏式智能星光装饰，中央镶嵌可发光LOGO，点亮后辨识度极高。前包围保留进气口和导流槽，整体视觉简约。
车身侧面，新车使用短前后悬和大轴距造型，造型方正魁梧，搭配悬浮车顶、隐藏式门把手、多条辐轮圈以及21英寸马牌静音轮胎等设计，进一步提升车辆的运动感。车尾部分，新车尾灯同样时下流行的贯穿式尾灯组设计，与前脸形成呼应，配备运动风格扰流板，后包围设计十分简约。尺寸方面，新车长宽高分别为5002/1972/1732mm，轴距为3025mm，定位中大型SUV。作为对比，理想L8长宽高分别为5080/1995/1800mm，轴距为3005mm。
内饰部分，新车同样主打简洁风格，车内运用大量柔软皮革包裹，中控台采用木纹装饰和镀铬装饰，方向盘则采用双拼色设计，提升车辆的时尚感。配置方面，新车提供一块悬浮式的仪表盘和一块大尺寸的悬浮式中控屏，并取消了中控区域的物理按键，视觉空间更简洁。座椅布局方面，新车采用2+2+2的6座布局，第二排提供电动座椅，独立扶手、小桌板、车载冰箱等。

CLTC pure electric battery life is 210km, and CLTC comprehensive battery life is 1300km. The single motor of pure electric models has a maximum power of 200 kW and a maximum torque of 340 Nm. It uses Dongyu Xinsheng’s lithium iron phosphate battery pack, with a CLTC cruising range of 636km.
From the perspective of the positioning and price of the new car, as a medium and large SUV model, the new car will compete with models of the same level, including the Ideal L8, the Q M7, the Xiaopeng G9, and the Star Era ET.
Dongfeng eπ is a new new energy vehicle brand launched by Dongfeng Motor. It was released in November 2023, focusing on the 150,000-200,000 yuan market. In February this year, Dongfeng eπ’s first production car, Dongfeng Yipai eπ 007, was launched at a price of 15.96-19 9,600 yuan. The car is also based on Dongfeng Quantum architecture, positioning new energy medium and large cars, providing 1.5L range extension and pure electric two versions. Retail data shows that since the car was launched, the cumulative sales volume has been 7,047, of which 3,032 were in May.
As one of the new energy layout of Dongfeng Motor, the Dongfeng eπ brand is also a key part of Dongfeng Motor’s implementation of the "three-year transformation and upgrading action". With the launch of two models under the brand, Dongfeng Motor will also accelerate the new energy strategy. According to the plan, Dongfeng eπ will launch 10 models within three years, covering the two major tracks of pure electric and extended range. As for how the products of the eπ brand will perform in the market after they are launched, more time and market feedback are needed.
